When Rain Comes By

Your tears,
let me know this is real.
cloudiness;
your distracted,
let me know what you feel.

The thunder rumbles in
then my heart begins to pound,
and it's too much for me.
It's getting cloudy again,
it's all a blur.
My world, and yours,
spin 'round.

Clouds run thorough us,
we are gone,
we hurt.
I must confess,
you were never there to begin with.

Over With

The blurs
the slurs
the yearns
the burns,
I can't take anymore,
but i know i have to.
but i know nothing will change.
but i know things won't get better.
but i know i wasn't meant to be
so i have to know
know i will change
know i will make things better
know i will mean to be
the one
no one
that was done.
Didn't want things to stay the same.

That Blind Side

Blinded by the red,
yet, it doesn't hurt you,
yet, it hurts them.
Do see it?
Only when you feel blue
Do you realize,
Do you recognize?
They're always there.
In the ragged rainstorms
Past the jagged flames.
Do you see?
The coats of paint you've layered,
they're peeling.
The wall you build,
it's falling.
Who are you?
Do you know?
Do you...?

The Middle's Middle

There is
always two sides
to one story

There is always
the good and a bad
of a situation

There is always
the right and wrong

but they never tell you
that there is that blind side,
that third choice
the one no one could comprehend
or maybe chose not to

because of pride
because of materialism
because of some kind of excuse that
we all know inexcusable

Do you chose to not fight for your belief,
yet stop when you know its enough
to know what you still believe,
to know it's wrong
what you're doing.

Ignore pride
Ignore the excuses,
and tell yourself the harsh truth,
that even though you can't stomach it,
life was never going to get easier,
you only get the chance to understand it more.
